NDIS Project Advisory Group

YDAS is looking for 10 disabled young people from all over Australia to join our Project Advisory Group to lead an online hub project.

You will be paid $50 per hour for up to approximately $1,500/30 hours work. The exact amount will depend on the number of hours you work.

The online hub aims to support disabled young people to:

  • Learn about and understand their rights
  • Build their confidence and ability to raise any concerns they may have with their NDIS supports and services
  • Educate providers on how to make sure young people’s voices are heard and needs are understood

You will work with other disabled young people to:

  • Lead the online hub project.
  • Decide what topics to cover in the online hub for:
    • Disabled young people,
    • Parents and carers,
    • NDIS Service Providers.
  • Co-design and co-create engaging resources such as videos, social media, blog posts, art, zines, and more.

The 10 Project Advisory Group members will attend 5 online workshops to co-design resources and content for the online hub. After the workshop, you will be invited to take part in a series of filming sessions in Melbourne in May/June (details to be confirmed).
