Are you a First Nations person under 25 years old living in Central Victoria with a story to tell? We’re looking for films that showcase this year’s theme ‘My Mob, My Place. Submit your short film into the Koorie Youth Flick Fest for a chance to win $1000!
Short Film Guidelines:
- Films can be shot using any device, such as a smart phone, tablet or camera
- Films must be no longer than 3 minutes
- There is no minimum time limit
- You can use any software or apps to edit your film, and you can edit on any device
- The film must focus on the theme “My mob, my place” but this theme can be told or explored in any way
- Your film must be suitable for screening up to PG classification
- The judging panel are looking for films highlighting story-telling, creativity, originality and for stories that meet the theme of “My mob, my place’
- By entering a film, you are giving permission for your film to screen at the awards ceremony and to feature as part of promotions. If your film is screened in other Council venues or elsewhere as part of promotions or events, additional consent will be sought.
