The Event – Youth Ambassadors

The Youth Ambassador Volunteer Program comprises of passionate, young people in and around Ballarat, aged between 12-25.

“The Event” is the Youth Ambassadors initiative to share our work with the community and take advantage of the beginnings of a new era. This event will give the community opportunity to witness the changes we have made, and will continue to make, in spaces, where young people’s voices go underrepresented.

Aware of the low engagement our age range experiences in community, we are working to bridge the gap between generations and bring a voice to our demographic. We, the City of Ballarat Youth Ambassadors, invite you to not only be present, but involved as we work towards a better tomorrow for everyone in our community.

About Youth Ambassadors: Through advocacy and education the Youth Ambassadors work with and for the community to achieve the goal of creating a more inclusive and equal society for kids and young people locally. By raising awareness about issues such as youth homelessness, food insecurity, cyber bullying, gender-based violence, sustainability, and well-being the Youth Ambassadors strive to bring about positive change and inspire both young people and the broader community, to stand up for young peoples rights.
