It’s a Jam – Alpine Shire

Join us for “It’s a Jam” – a Battle of the Bands without the Battle!
Whether you’re a first-timer or a pro, there will be a set of drums, a guitar, and a microphone to use or, you are welcome to bring your own instrument too!

A safe space for everyone to have a chance to jump on stage and try something new.

We are encouraging all ages to have a shot at jamming out solo or with new and old friends.

A bonus! Mieke Bosland will be playing a set, then you can catch up with her for a FREE song writing session during the Jam session, don’t miss this amazing opportunity to work with the incredible @miekesmusik

This event is funded by FReeZA, FReeZA is a Victorian Government initiative that supports young Victorians to get involved in their community by planning and running drug, alcohol and smoke-free events for other young people

What? It’s a Jam was created from Battle of the Bands, we realised that we did not have many established young bands or artists in the Alpine Shire area, we wanted to create a safe space for everyone to have a chance to jump on stage and try something new.

Who? This event is run by Alpine Shire Youth; however, we are encouraging all ages to have a shot at jamming out solo or with new and old friends.

20th Dec 2024 – Bright, Sibley Soundshell, Howitt Park.

21st Dec 2024 – Myrtleford Piazza.

22nd Dec 2024 – Mount Beauty Hydro Park.
